Salary: Up to £32,000 (dependent on experience)

Our client has an exciting opportunity for a Deputy Care Manager to join their rehabilitation facility for adults with brain injury. This critical role involves assisting in the management of a multidisciplinary workforce while ensuring the delivery of exceptional care and adherence to regulatory standards.
As a Deputy Care Manager will play a pivotal role in upholding the organisation’s values, developing personalised care plans, and supporting the team in providing high-quality rehabilitation services tailored to the unique needs of individuals with brain injuries.
What we’re looking for
- Qualifications: NVQ/QCF in Health and Social Care in Health and Social Care Management
- Leadership Experience: Previous experience in a senior leadership position within a residential or rehabilitation facility.
- Expertise: Extensive knowledge of care plan development and risk assessment procedures.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Strong understanding of CQC standards and regulations relevant to brain injury rehabilitation.
- Resilience: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage challenges effectively.

Key Responsibilities
- Leadership Support: Assist and support the Service Manager in day-to-day operations and decision-making.
- Team Guidance: Provide professional support and guidance to staff, fostering a cohesive and high-performing team.
- Training & Development: Identify staff training needs and, where necessary, deliver training sessions to enhance team capabilities.
- Staff Coordination: Assist with preparing staff rotas, ensuring adequate coverage and efficiency.
- Supervision & Appraisals: Oversee staff supervision and conduct personal development reviews to promote continuous improvement.
- Risk Management: Conduct and review risk assessments to ensure the safety and well-being of residents and staff.
- Care Planning: Develop and oversee individualized care plans tailored to the unique rehabilitation needs of each service user.
