Behaviour Mentor - Key Requirements:

* Minimum 1 year of experience working with young people, preferably in a school setting

* Strong behaviour management skills and the ability to build positive relationships

* Experience supporting students with behavioural, emotional, and social difficulties

* Team Teach or Physical Intervention training is desirable but not essential

* Passionate about making a positive impact on students' well-being and development

The Role - Behaviour Mentor

A mainstream secondary school in Newham is looking for a dedicated Behaviour Mentor to join their pastoral support team immediately. This role involves providing 1:1, in-class, and out-of-class support, helping students manage their behaviour and overcome personal challenges.

As a Behaviour Mentor, you will:

* Support students with behavioural and emotional difficulties

* Implement positive behaviour management strategies

* Work closely with teachers, SENCOs, and pastoral teams to support student progress

* Provide mentoring and guidance to help students re-engage with learning
