With a strong reputation in handling complex private client matters—including wills and probate, Lasting Powers of Attorney, trusts, estate planning, and Capital Gains Tax—this role is ideal for a strategic, entrepreneurial lawyer who thrives in a client-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities

* Lead and develop the Private Client team in Leeds, ensuring high service standards.

* Advise High-Net-Worth individuals, families, business owners, and landed estates on a range of complex private client matters.

* Drive business development initiatives, building and expanding client relationships.

* Collaborate with other teams, including Pensions, Employment, Corporate, and Family law, to deliver a full-service approach.

* Mentor and support junior lawyers, fostering a high-performing team culture.

* Represent the firm at industry events, networking to establish a strong presence in the Yorkshire legal market.

Candidate Profile

* Qualified solicitor with extensive experience in private client law.

* A proven track record in complex estate and tax planning matters.

* Strong leadership skills with the ability to grow and manage a high-performing team.

* An entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for business development.

* Exceptional client care and relationship-building skills.

* Experience operating at Senior Associate, Legal Director, or Partner level.
