Finance Manager, London. Permanent. £40,000 - £50,000.
On behalf of a chain of luxury restaurants, with sites in some of the most prestigious central London locations, we are recruiting a Finance Manager on a permanent basis. This is a key role which will support the business with all day-to-day bookkeeping and financial control processes including invoice management, intercompany, banking, reconciliations, payroll, and cash management. This role will also perform stock and price checks in the main warehouse.
Main Duties:
- Invoice management on a daily basis, including raising intercompany invoices.
- Manage the banking and reconciliation processes including monthly, weekly, and daily reconciliations for bank accounts, credit cards, cash, PDQ machines, and delivery platforms like Deliveroo.
- Stock and pricing: Perform stock and price checks in the main warehouse
- Process payroll and pension contributions
- Process payment runs and journals and reconcile balance sheet monthly
- Provide finance advice to colleague as needed (i.e., expenses and petty cash)
- Work with the business to help streamline finance administrative processes and systems
- Work closely with, and attend meetings with the business owner as well as leading monthly and bi-monthly meetings with the external Accountant to review finance progress
Person Specification:
- Part-qualified level or equivalent, with proven experience of working in a busy, in-house finance team - ideally from the hospitality, F&B, or retail sector
- Proficiency in Xero Accounting System is essential.
- A high level of accuracy and organisation skills
- Proactivity and the ability to self-manage time and workload independently
- Comfortable working with and collaborating with senior leadership and operational teams
