About the Role:
As a PE Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and dynamic lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, and potentially A-level. You will inspire students to develop their physical abilities, understand the importance of health and fitness, and foster a sense of teamwork and sportsmanship. Additionally, you will assess student progress, prepare them for sporting events, and contribute to the school's extracurricular sports activities.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver fun, varied, and differentiated PE lessons tailored to the needs of all learners.
Encourage a positive, active classroom environment that promotes student engagement and a passion for physical education.
Monitor and assess student progress, offering constructive feedback and guidance.
Promote the values of teamwork, discipline, and a healthy lifestyle through physical activity.
Work closely with colleagues to coordinate school sports events, competitions, and extracurricular activities.
Contribute to the school's wider community through involvement in sports clubs and school events.
Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with a specialisation in PE.
Previous experience teaching PE at secondary level is highly desirable.
Strong knowledge of physical education, health, and fitness principles.
Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
A commitment to fostering a positive, active learning environment that promotes student well-being and achievement.
