As an Accountant, you will play a vital role in the preparation of management and statutory accounts

You will provide support to the Senior Accountant and be an integral part of the management accounts reporting team where you will be involved in the preparation of internal and external financial reporting for the Business.

This role will be a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to further develop and enhance their skillset within an ever-growing and supportive team.

This role is eligible for inclusion in the Company’s hybrid working from home policy where you will have the option to work up to two days from home.

Successful applicants will be required to provide proof of eligibility to work in the UK.

Preferred Skills, Qualifications and Experience

  • Fully AAT qualified or ACCA/CIMA part qualified and working towards completion of professional qualification.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Good IT skills including Excel with strong attention to detail.
  • Basic understanding of the gambling industry and an interest in wide range of sports is desirable.
  • Experience of building relationships and working effectively with all levels within the business.
  • Experience of working within a fast-paced business environment.

Main Responsibilities

  • Managing accounts preparation in multiple locations of the Business.
  • Assisting with statutory accounts and Tax packs.
  • Liaising with external auditors and providing audit support where required.
  • Providing support for any ad-hoc requests.
