LV Logistics UK, currently has an opportunity for a Document Controller to join our dynamic team on a full time, permanent basis. In return will receive an attractive salary based on experience plus benefits including pension and bonus scheme.

LV Logistics are a market leader in the shipping and transport industry, with 11 UK offices and many others in strategic locations across the globe.

Your responsibilities as our Document Controller will include:

Establishing a systematic and comprehensive filing system relating to HSQE and compliance

Assisting in the documentation, update and controlled dissemination of Business Management System, Processes, Procedures and Work Instructions.

Supporting internal Subject Matter Experts with the creation, formatting and revision of documents held within the LV Logistics Management System.

Ensuring that UK electronic record files as required, are maintained in good order to comply with Quality Management requirements.

Archiving and retrieval of historical documentation.

Ensuring the timely delivery of electronic generated documents and databases through the competent use of various software packages, i.e. SharePoint, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.

Monitoring the effectiveness of Document Control processes and where necessary, identify and implement improvements to maintain DC efficiency.

Coordinating the completion of Pre-qualification and assist with tendering documentation, maintain a register of same.

Ensuring all company registrations are maintained and up to date.

Assisting with internal auditing of UK offices when applicable.

Supporting the UK Senior HSE Advisor and UK Quality coordinator with evaluation of internal and external compliance requirements.

Where appropriate support the UK HSSQE department with administrative tasks.

Carrying out all reasonable management requests

Key qualifications and skills:

Knowledge of MS Office packages crucially SharePoint

Knowledge of Adobe

Communication skills - both written and verbal

Skills in word processing, spreadsheets, database applications and Electronic Document Management Systems

Excellent attention to detail and Organisational skills
