E-commerce Manager is required by fast growing, highly successful and global organisation.
Purpose of the Role
The E-commerce Managers' key purpose is to enhance their digital footprint and to drive E-commerce excellence.
This dynamic role leads their E-commerce presence, covering all marketplaces and territories, including online sales, stock management, order processing, email marketing, promotional activity and website development.
The E-commerce Manager will devise strategies and harness sales-related insights and develop cutting-edge strategies to enhance our E-commerce performance. The primary objective is to propel E-commerce sales growth, focusing on a harmonious blend of product offerings, customer experience, and innovative marketing strategies.
Working closely with the Brand and Marketing Manager and Heads of Creative, this role will also need to have a clear understanding of creating and leading process to support company growth and drive innovation and efficiencies.
Main responsibilities
- Leading the development and growth of E-commerce sales
- Overseeing future product for potential online stock and adding it to Sales Orders
- Create product listings that appeal to their customers, and ensure all listings are optimised correctly for the marketplace they are in
- Create monthly Sales Orders for website sales and creating fortnightly Sales Orders for Amazon sales
- Adding all stock onto the website and Amazon, including copy, images and photography, plus creating videos to showcase products
- Monitoring ATS stock in our warehouse and arranging for it to be transferred to the online sales location
- Liaising with the warehouse to make sure all orders are shipped and all stock pick requests are completed
- Monitoring E-commerce selling prices to support all channels
- Research customer needs and how they respond to adverts, measure and report on campaign performance.
- Monitor advertising performance, by evaluating online traffic and conversions, use these learnings to measure promotional successes and suggest improvements
- Make business decisions, in liaison with the CEO, about products, pricing and promotions
- Work with the Head of Finance to monitor and improve profitability of E-commerce sales
- Work with technical teams to fix any online marketplace issues
- Write management reports on sales performance
- Research competitors and keep up to date with trends in E-commerce and new technologies
- Research new marketplaces we can expand into, and help to grow our online footprint into new territories
- Identify, appoint, and manage agencies and freelancers as required to support and grow the business
- Work with Brand and Marketing Manager on a digital marketing strategy to help grow the business overall
General
- Budget planning and tracking, reporting updates to CEO and Director of Product
- Establish and maintain awareness of the retail market, media, marketing landscape, also engage with relevant sales and marketing reports

Skills & Experience required
- 1-2 years experience in technology to automate various eCommerce processes
- Good understanding and knowledge of E-commerce platforms, such as Shopify
- Skilled in integrating payment systems and ensuring website security.
- Understanding of SEO and digital marketing, includes understanding search engine algorithms, leveraging social media platforms, and executing email marketing campaigns.
- Skilled in collecting, analysing, and interpreting data to inform business decisions. This includes tracking sales trends, inventory levels, and customer engagement metrics.
- Excellent project management skills, proactive and able to juggle priorities and meet deadlines
- Experience in inventory management and forecasting
- Able to supervise freelancers effectively through clear briefing and delivering constructive feedback.
- Able to develop and execute business plans, manage budgets, and negotiate with suppliers.
- Excellent Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook skills.
