We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Deputy Headteacher to join our partner SEND School in Princes Risborough. This is an exciting opportunity to lead and inspire a small but passionate team dedicated to supporting students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs and associated learning requirements.

About the Role:

As the Deputy Headteacher, you will be at the heart of leading the strategic direction of the school, ensuring the highest standards of teaching, learning, and student welfare. With 20 students on roll, this is an excellent opportunity to make a significant and meaningful impact in a school that values close, individual support for every child.

Key Responsibilities:

* Assist the Headteacher in leading the school's vision and development, with a focus on delivering high-quality education to students with SEMH and associated learning needs.

* Lead the development and implementation of school policies, ensuring effective safeguarding, pastoral care, and student progress.

* Support the day-to-day management of the school, including staff performance, development, and well-being.

* Oversee curriculum delivery, ensuring that students receive personalised and relevant learning experiences.

* Foster strong relationships with parents, carers, external agencies, and the local community.

* Deputise for the Headteacher in their absence and take a leading role in whole-school decision-making.

About You:

* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

* Experience in a senior leadership role within an SEND or SEMH school

* Proven track record of successfully leading teams, managing staff, and driving improvements in student outcomes.

* A deep understanding of SEMH and the associated learning needs of students.

* Strong communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.

* A passion for developing young people and creating a safe, nurturing, and inclusive school environment.
