Solutions Architect - Data-Focused Digital Transformation

Contract: 6 MonthsDay Rate: £600 - £650/day (Inside IR35)Location: Hybrid, 2 days/month in Southampton

A leading insurance provider is seeking a Solutions Architect with a strong interest in data-driven digital transformation and a passion for bringing digital products to life. This role focuses on driving innovation by designing and implementing solutions that ensure businesses can access and leverage data effectively, in user-friendly ways that promote growth and innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the end-to-end design and delivery of data-heavy Proof of Concepts (POCs) that solve critical business challenges.
• Drive transformation by identifying opportunities where data and emerging technologies can enhance business operations.
• Assess and recommend new technologies, ensuring alignment with business goals and digital trends.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate strategic ideas into actionable solutions.
• Facilitate workshops and present prototypes to demonstrate the value of data-driven approaches.
• Maintain a focus on creating solutions that are both accessible and scalable, empowering businesses to innovate effectively.

Essential Skills:

• Proven experience in building and implementing POCs with a focus on data solutions.
• Extensive experience in Python and cloud-based platforms such as Azure and Databricks.
• Strong understanding of data accessibility, user experience, and how to drive business innovation through technology.
• Consultancy experience or a background in digital transformation projects.
• Familiarity with containerized applications is a plus.
• Experience with Power BI for data visualization and reporting is highly beneficial.
• A strong understanding of business processes and technical needs to drive digital transformation.
