Multi Modal - Ocean Air Road Import & Export Operators
Paying up to £35,000 DOE
Manchester Airport

Imports (Looking to fill first due to a member of staff leaving).

* Conversant with all import documentation (MAWB / HAWB / Certificate of Origins, invoices, packing lists etc.)

* Import Customs Declarations via CDS

* Knowledge of HS Codes, duty rates etc.

* Some Dangerous Goods Experience (ideal but not essential).

* Liaising with partners / suppliers.

* Arranging collection and deliveries with sub-contractors.

* Excellent customer service.

* Experience with airline rates / surcharges / structuring quotes.

* MUST have Full five-year work history - with NO gaps of more than 30 days.

* MUST agree to a DBS background Check

Exports (New role created due to expansion)

* Arranging all export documentation (MAWB / HAWB / Manifest / Certificate of Origins etc.).

* Customs Declarations via CDS

* Dangerous Goods Experience (ideally still with a current IATA Certificate but not essential).

* Aviation Security Training / Awareness of the “Known cargo” regime (ideal but not essential).

* Booking with airlines.

* Liaising with partners / suppliers.

* Arranging collection and deliveries with sub-contractors.

* Excellent customer service.

* Experience with airline rates / surcharges / structuring quotes.

* MUST have Full five-year work history - with NO gaps of more than 30 days.

* MUST agree to a DBS background Check

Both roles are office based (NO hybrid), Monday - Friday 09:00 to 17:30, some flexibility may be needed due to the nature of the freight industry.
