We are seeking a high-calibre Accounts Semi-Senior to join our expanding team. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, able to work to tight deadlines, and possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills. An interest in understanding clients’ businesses and contributing to the growth of our niche-oriented practice is essential.
Day-to-day of the role: - Prepare accounts from clients’ records.
- Compile accurate working paper files.
- Apply knowledge of Income Tax and VAT in preparation work.
- Review WIP and debtors with a view to profitability.
- Assist Partners in client meetings and act as a responsible team member.
- Produce work for manager and partner review, highlighting issues and providing potential solutions.
Required Skills & Qualifications: - Computer literacy is essential.
- Up-to-date technical knowledge, including recent developments in accounting standards.
- Proficiency in Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Exam qualified ACCA or equivalent.
- Minimum 1 year’s experience in accounts preparation assignments.
- Working knowledge of Xero, VT, Sage Line 50, and CCH Central.
