Grafton Banks Finance is partnering with a thriving business based in central Brighton to find an experienced Assistant Accountant. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic finance team, where you will play a key role in supporting a variety of transactional and month-end tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform accurate and timely bank reconciliations
• Prepare and analyse cash flow reports
• Process and submit journal entries
• Manage and resolve finance-related queries
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements
• Maintain and update the general ledger
• Support financial reporting activities

Desired Skills & Qualifications:

• A degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (or equivalent accounting qualifications)
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Ability to commute to central Brighton offices daily
• At least 2 years of finance experience (experience in an accountancy practice is desirable)
