The Teaching Assistant - Mortimer, W. Berkshire requirements:

• Support students with ASC, SEMH needs, and challenging behaviour in both classroom and 1:1 settings.
• Assist in the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and Behaviour Support Plans (BSPs).
• Create and encourage a positive and inclusive KS1/KS2 learning environment.
• Be able to adapt teaching styles, to suit the individual student. Essential when in 1:1 settings.
• Collaborate with the West Berkshire teachers, therapists, and other specialists to provide holistic support.
• Responsible to monitor and report on student progress and behaviour.
• Be a reliable member of the Teaching Assistant - Mortimer, W. Berkshire team to offer emotional and behavioural support to the Wasing students when required.

Experience:

• SEN/SEMH: 1 year (preferred)
• UK based Teaching Assistant - Mortimer, W. Berkshire roles: 1 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

• Driving Licence (preferred)
