About the role:

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate SEN Teaching Assistant with a specialization in Autism Spectrum Disorder to join our team. This full-time, long-term position comes with a salary of £85-£100 per day. The role is available due to the current specialist moving on to a new opportunity, and we are looking for someone who can bring fresh energy and expertise to our supportive environment.

In this role, you will work closely with Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 students, supporting those with ASD to access the curriculum and thrive in their learning. You will be part of a collaborative team that values innovation and student-centered teaching. The class sizes are manageable, with an emphasis on individual attention and personalised support.

Application Requirements:

• A strong background in supporting students with Autism Spectrum Disorder.

• Relevant qualifications or experience in Special Educational Needs (SEN).

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with teachers, parents, and external agencies.

• A compassionate and patient approach to working with children.

• Experience with behavior management strategies tailored for students with ASD.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one and small group support to students with ASD.

• Assist in the development and implementation of individualised education plans (IEPs).

• Support students with daily routines and learning activities.

• Collaborate with teachers to adapt classroom materials and strategies to meet the needs of students with ASD.

• Monitor and track student progress, providing feedback and reports as required.
