Looking for an exciting opportunity to make a difference?

A welcoming primary school in Barnet is seeking a dedicated early years teaching assistant to join their supportive team.

About the RoleAs an early years teaching assistant, you'll work closely with Nursery and Reception students, particularly those with additional needs such as Autism and short attention spans.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Helping Nursery children settle into school life.

• Supporting Reception students with engaging activities to prepare for Year 1.

• Providing 1:1 and group support to children with special educational needs.

Familiarity with the EYFS framework is highly advantageous. While qualifications are a bonus, experience and a passion for helping children thrive are most important.

We're seeking an early years teaching assistant with:

• Experience supporting children with additional needs, including Autism.

• A patient, adaptable, and enthusiastic approach.

• Knowledge of the EYFS framework.
