Project Manager (Joinery)

Salary Circa £50k D.O.E

Our Leicestershire based clients require an enthusiastic individual to join their busy joinery team as a full time and permanent Project Manager.

They will be required to take ownership of the planning and organisation of manufacturing to achieve all targets in terms of quantity, quality, unit costs and project requirements.

Responsibilities include:

* Managing customer relationships from project start to finish. Keeping clients updated

* Preparing/submitting quotations and details of costs for work to be done

* Obtaining quotes from suppliers/contractors and raising orders within a specified time frame

* Building and maintaining relationships with the supply chain, checking off invoices against PO's

* Work with the operation and management teams to delegate tasks and resources to ensure the project is delivered according to plan while maintaining frequent and detailed communication with the team.

* Managing project administration timesheets, expenses and credit card receipts

* Anticipating and managing project risks and issues as they arise and resolving.

* To comply with CPI procedures, including all safety requirements

* Attend production and account management meetings

* Managing the financial performance of projects, utilising regular financial reports to monitor actual spend versus the quotation and forecast; Identify spending anomalies

Experience

Essential

* 3 years' experience in joinery and project management

* Industry knowledge

* Full driving licence

* Somebody who delivers great customer service

* Organised, manages own workload, great attention to detail, multi tasker

* A good communicator, team player, treats everyone with respect.

* Open and willing to learn, who uses their insight to grow the business

Desirable

* NVQ, City & Guilds or equivalent in carpentry/joinery

* Leadership and line management experience

* H&S Qualifications in 'General Health & Safety' and 'IOSH'

* Account Management experience

* Pricing & estimating experience

* FSC experience

* Experience in AutoCAD or Solid Works
