Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Manager to oversee the operations of our residential Children Homes (EBD). The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership skills and a passion for delivering high-quality care in a supportive and nurturing environment. This role involves managing staff, ensuring regulatory compliance, and developing care plans tailored to the individual needs of children in our care. The Registered Manager will play a pivotal role in fostering a culture of excellence, professionalism, and compassion within our home. Our service includes a three-bed home, a four-bed home, and two solo homes.

Responsibilities:

Ensure compliance with Ofsted regulations and guidelines.

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of childcare legislation and safeguarding policies.

Provide leadership, guidance, and management to all staff.

Develop and oversee an effective on-call rota.

*

Manage the annual budget with the finance team and Operational Director.

*

Promote the development, well-being, and interests of children and young people.

*

Lead staff recruitment and retention in collaboration with HR.

*

Implement key staff management processes.

*

Ensure effective communication systems across the home and departments.

*

Oversee the implementation of support plans and risk assessments.

*

Participate in multi-disciplinary meetings and LAC reviews.

*

Contribute to policy development and continuous improvement initiatives.

*

Promote continuous professional development opportunities.

*

Ensure health and safety policies are maintained and followed.

Salary:

£55,000.00 - £70,000.00 per year
