Excellent opportunity for an experienced ACA or ACCA Qualified Audit Senior Manager to join a highly regarded and rapidly expanding Practice in the Manchester area. Responsibilities will include:

• Managing and overseeing audit assignments from planning through to completion.
• Managing and prioritising audit and account assignments, ensuring timely completion and adherence to deadlines.
• Maintaining client relationships, ensuring efficient communication and the timely completion of work.
• Acting as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring clear communication and addressing client queries.
• Reviewing work completed by your team.
• Preparing and monitoring budgets.
• Ensuring all auditing standards and guidelines are adhered to.
• Taking a proactive role in developing and implementing improved procedures to optimise workflow and team performance.
• Taking charge of billing and ensuring budgets are adhered to.
• Ensuring compliance with auditing and accounting standards.
• Promoting a positive and productive work environment.
• Addressing any team performance and personnel matters.
• Liaise with Managers, Directors, and other departments to ensure seamless service delivery.

Applicants will be fully ACA or ACA Qualified with extensive experience in audit/accounts practice with a deep understanding of regulatory obligations and quality standards including FRS and IFRS. Your will also have prior experience in Risk Assessment, identifying and assessing risks and implementing the required effective controls. You will have: Strong client relationship management skills with a proven ability of building and maintaining long-term relationships; Excellent management/leadership skills and a track record of building high calibre, efficient and motivated teams: A team player, familiar with working in a collaborative team where everyone works to support one another. Salary negotiable (envisaged to £80k) depending on level and skills, with good benefits and excellent development/progression prospects. 100% office based (no hybrid).
