Senior Quantity Surveyor - Exeter

Sphere Solutions is working with a Tier 1 contractor, a leading construction contractor, to recruit a Senior Quantity Surveyor for major long-term projects in Exeter.

The Role: This is an exciting opportunity to take charge of the commercial aspects of a large-scale scheme. You will work closely with construction and design teams, ensuring financial efficiency, contract compliance, and successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

* Oversee project costs, budgets, and financial reporting.

* Manage subcontractor accounts, valuations, and final accounts.

* Ensure cost/value reconciliation and commercial returns.

* Liaise with clients and negotiate contract terms.

* Provide commercial risk management and dispute resolution.

What We're Looking For:

* Experience as a Quantity Surveyor/Senior with a main contractor.

* Strong cost management and negotiation skills.

* Ability to produce accurate valuations and reports.

* Excellent communication and stakeholder management.

* Degree in Quantity Surveying or related field.

* RICS / CIOB qualification.

* Experience on £50m+ projects or high-rise buildings.
