Robert Half Finance and Accounting are excited to partner with a leading Technology firm based in London to recruit an immediate, interim Payroll Manager for 3 months.

Role:

Our client is looking to recruit an immediate, Interim Payroll Manager for 3 months, this role has the opportunity to convert to a permanent contract.

In this role you will be responsible for the following duties:

  • Manage the preparation of payroll for UK, US & Canadian entities - circa 250 employees
  • Lead efforts in developing, implementing and administering payroll policies and procedures to help ensure alignment to business objectives
  • Expert on external legal and regulatory requirements to provide internal safeguards
  • Evaluate, analyse, design and maintain programs and reports to serves the company's HR and Finance needs
  • Provide payroll support and information by answering questions and requests from employees
  • Review final payroll reports, monthly general ledger journal entries, payroll bank wire transfers, direct deposits and taxes
  • Collaborate with other departments for any system changes
  • Maintain payroll information by collecting, calculating and entering data
  • Run reports as needed
  • Receive and verify all payroll information from Human Resources to include in payroll process
  • Coordinate payroll audits performed by external parties
  • Process payments for specific tax and insurance agencies
  • Prepare general ledger journal entries
  • Reconciliation of payroll general ledger accounts, Yearend tax reconciliation and final yearend tax form approvals
  • Work with outside vendors to keep records/systems in sync and current.
  • Process withholding tax adjustments with outside vendor.
  • System: ADP

Profile:

The successful Interim, Payroll Manager will have at least 3 years in a similar role where they have been responsible for the payroll across a number of international entities (ideally US & Canada), strong system experience and be able to work within a fast paced environment.

You must be immediate or on a 1 week notice to be considered for this role.

Salary & Benefits:

This Interim Payroll Manager will be paying circa £24 - £26 PAYE per hour, + holiday pay (dependant on experience)
