Job Title: Contracts Manager

Location: Hertford Office-based (4 days/week) - Home-based (1 day/week)
Salary: £55,000 - £60,000 + Car Allowance
Full-Time | Permanent

We're looking for a proactive and experienced Contracts Manager. This role offers a flexible hybrid model - 4 days in the office and 1 day from home - and the opportunity to influence performance, procurement, and service delivery.

What You'll Be Doing:

Overseeing day-to-day delivery of a reactive and planned maintenance contract

Managing direct labour teams and supply chain partners

Driving efficiencies, innovation, and continuous improvement

Leading procurement activity and negotiating subcontractor packages

Working closely with commercial and operational teams to ensure value and performance

Maintaining strong client relationships and upholding safety and compliance standards

What We're Looking For:

Minimum 5 years' experience with a maintenance or main contractor

Proven leadership skills and team management experience

Strong commercial acumen and ability to interrogate performance data

Skilled in MS Excel and Microsoft Project

Excellent communication, client-facing and negotiation abilities

High level of Health & Safety awareness

Full UK driving licence

Qualifications:

SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) - essential
