Digital Advisor

Wiltshire College & University Centre is looking for a Digital Advisor to join our innovative Learning Resources team. This role is crucial in helping the college achieve its digital-first strategy by supporting staff and students with IT systems, digital resources, and Microsoft Office 365 applications.

Digital Advisor - Key Responsibilities:

• Frontline Support: Provide daily support to staff and students in the Learning Resource Centres, assisting with general IT use, Office 365 applications, and resolving basic technical issues.

• Promote Digital by Default: Support staff with digital resources, encourage online production, and manage reprographics requests where necessary.

• Staff Digital Training: Deliver training to help staff develop digital skills and confidence, ensuring they can fully utilise digital tools.

• Reporting and Collaboration: Liaise with Learning Resource Coordinators and report updates to the ICT and Learning Resources Team.
• Report to Learning Resources Manager and liaise with ICT and Learning Resources Teams

Digital Advisor - You:

To apply, you will have:

• Experience of providing exceptional customer service and interpreting individual requirements within a digital support role
• Level 2 (GCSE A-C) qualification or equivalent in English and Maths.
• IT Qualification at minimum level 2 or be willing to work towards.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 applications.
• A team player with great communication skills.
• Keen to develop or further your career in digital support and IT.
