ROLE

Purpose

To carry out site Electrical maintenance, installation and upgrade work around the plant whilst providing production support within the shift team.
To carry out the role whilst ensuring health and safety procedures are followed at all times. Ensuring that high levels of productivity, attendance and customer satisfaction are maintained at all times.

Key Responsibilities

• Day to day maintenance of all plant and machinery.
• Conduct risk assessments on all jobs before undertaking any work/tasks.
• Ensure that all logs and job sheets are filled in as required.
• Ensure that the working area is clean and tidy on completion of any job/task.
• To install and maintain new and existing equipment, whilst ensuring production is not
interrupted.
• Assisting other mechanical/operational departments when required.
• Provide support to the Maintenance Team and cover shifts for holidays/sickness
when the business requires.
• To provide on call support
• To assist in any other duties as required by Management/site.
• Ensure that all work is completed to a high standard, whilst complying with the
Company's Health and Safety requirements to ensure the safety of yourself and
others.

CANDIDATE

You will be a recognised Electrician with relevant Apprenticeship/Qualification. You will have extensive electrical experience working in a continuous process environment. You will have proven experience with fault finding and prior experience in electrical /mechanical breakdowns. You will be conversant with basic PLC logic and inverter drives. You will have excellent communication skills and be able to communicate well at all levels. You will be able to work individually and as part of a team.

Days Shift Electrician - Based Nottingham
Hours - Average 42 hours per week, 4 on 4 off 12-hour shifts, days only
Pay - Basic £39,420.42 per annum, paid weekly
There is a requirement for you to do 17 cover shifts per year, which would be additional to the basic £39,420.42 per annum, which would equate to an additional £4,786.69 so £44,207.11
Overtime Rates - £281.57 per shift
There is also stand by payment:
Whilst on standby you will get £15.00 per day. If called out you will get minimum of 4 hours at T1/2 @ O/T Rate £93.86
Holiday Allowance - 20 shifts inclusive of bank holidays
Pension - Auto-enrolment - 5% employee contribution and a 3% employer contribution.
Private Healthcare - after 2 years' service
Death in Service - 3x annual salary
