We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Science Teacher to join a dynamic and supportive secondary school in Southampton. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the science curriculum, a passion for inspiring students, and a commitment to delivering engaging lessons. Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (with the potential for Key Stage 5 depending on expertise).
Inspire and motivate students to develop a love for science and achieve their best.
Assess, monitor, and report on student progress, providing constructive feedback.
Maintain a safe and supportive classroom environment where students are encouraged to excel.
Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance the science curriculum and share best practices.
Contribute to extra-curricular activities and the wider school community.
The Ideal Candidate:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
A degree in Science (Physics, Chemistry, Biology, or combined sciences).
Experience teaching science at Key Stage 3 and 4 (Key Stage 5 experience is a plus).
A passion for science and inspiring students to reach their full potential.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to motivate and manage students effectively in a classroom setting.
A proactive and positive approach to teaching and learning.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
