Machine Operative (Nights)

As a Machine Operative in my client's food processing factory, you'll play a key role in the weighing and packaging of produce to the highest standards. Location: March

Hours: Monday to Friday, 6:30pm to 2:30am

Hourly Rate: £13.85 (increase to £14.52 after successfully completing skilled operator training)

Duties and Responsibilities:

* Completing all customer orders in accordance to set specifications

* Operating food production machines such as bagging machines, weighers, etc

* Ensuring a clean, organised and hygienic workplace is maintained

* Meeting set performance targets

* Overlooking the general operation of machines and monitoring produce for defects

* Basic machine maintenance

* Cleaning of machines and workspace to maintain hygiene standards

* Check weight and seal packages correctly

Requirements:

* Must have a driving license and own transport

* Must have experience working on relevant food production machinery

* Ability to stand for long hours, working to deadlines and targets

* Work well under pressure
