Location: Sheffield (2-3 days can be remote)

My client is a clean energy technologies manufacturer, developer and the largest producer of Hydrogen in the UK.

Working in partnership with some of the world's largest green energy companies they aim to provide this delivery of renewable, zero-emission energy to all commercial markets.

Due to their continued growth, they now require a Project Manager to join their R&D team based out of Sheffield.

Position Overview:

Working within the R&D Projects Team you will lead and co-ordinate various R&D projects for the client, from concept through to delivery and assist with the transition of our latest products to business as usual. A 'can-do' attitude will be key in motivating and utilising the impressive skillset of our growing R&D Engineering Team, whilst also liaising with various departments, sub-contractors and suppliers to ensure project milestones are met and delivered on time and within budget. Key Responsibilities:

Lead and coordinate key R&D projects
Assist in the development of project scopes, objectives and documentation involving all relevant internal and external stakeholders
Prioritise and set tasks to the R&D Team (electrical, mechanical and control engineers and manufacturing)
Ensure the projects are compliant with legislation, guidance and best practice
Maintain and build relationships with key stakeholders and teams across the business
Preference will be for the Project Manager to report to the Sheffield office, with the ability to travel to our other site locations, if required.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

Previous project management experience
Great people management skills
High attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrates the ability to summarise complex issues effectively to people at all levels in the organisation
Energetic, enthusiastic, and self-motivated with the ability to work with limited guidance or supervision
Ability to work under pressure and adapt to and organise changing priorities
Ability to learn about new technologies and adapt with development
A positive attitude to lead and drive the team forward
Proficient with Microsoft office packages, including MS Project
Full driving licence
Desirable - a relevant degree qualification in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Maths (STEM) discipline or a business management subject
