Page Personnel are seeking a Credit Controller to join a very successful company based in Preston. The successful candidate will be part of the Accounting & Finance team, responsible for managing financial transactions and ensuring the company's monetary stability.

Description
As a Credit Controller you will be responsible for:
- Manage the collection of finances and resolution of account queries.
- Conduct credit checks and maintain the company's credit policy.
- Work closely with the finance team to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Monitor customer account details for non-payments, delayed payments, and other irregularities.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies in financial entries, documents, and reports.
- Develop a recovery system and initiate collection efforts.
- Regularly review the company's debt recovery procedures.
- Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and standards.
Profile
A successful Credit Control professional should have:
- Proven experience in the Transport & Distribution industry.
- Strong understanding of financial regulations and procedures, including credit control.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
- Proficiency in using financial software and creating financial reports.
