Are you an experienced finance professional looking for an exciting opportunity to lead a dynamic team and make a significant impact? Our client, a regulated firm within the Financial Services industry, is seeking a Finance Manager to join their team and drive positive change.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare consolidated monthly management accounts, providing valuable financial insights for decision-making and board presentations.
- Act as a Finance Business Partner to Senior Leadership Team members, building strong relationships and supporting their financial needs.
- Ensure accurate sales reconciliation, bookkeeping, and processing of cost journals.
- Approve supplier and broker payments, overseeing banking processes with precision.
- Collaborate with the payroll provider, ensuring accurate payroll changes and reviewing reports.
- Administer month-end activities, including preparing accruals, prepayments, and other necessary journals.
- Complete monthly reconciliations, including balance sheets, insurer accounts, and intercompany balances.
- Lead and manage the finance team, providing training, support, and performance monitoring.
Salary: £60K + Bens
Hybrid working - 2 days in the Brighton office per week
Requirements:
- Qualified accountant ideally with experience in the Financial Services sector.
- Familiarity with multi-currency and multi-jurisdiction business models.
- Strong analytical skills, including advanced Excel knowledge (Vlookup, Sumifs, Pivot tables).
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments and levels.
- Self-motivated, energetic, and eager to grow with a small company.
- Detail-oriented and able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in data analysis and providing valuable insights to senior management.
