Axon Moore are supporting a successful and well-known business in Preston, to recruit an ambitious Finance Business Partner. This is an excellent varied, commercial focussed role which would suit an analytically minded individual to gain exceptional exposure across the Group.Ideally candidates will be ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified with strong forecasting and budgeting experience.Responsibilities include:

• Use analytical capabilities to assess commercial viability of business initiatives and make data backed recommendations to the management teams
• Lead the process of budgeting and forecasting for two business areas
• Providing complex financial models which will enable monitoring of performance, raising opportunities/risks to the management team were appropriate to achieve EBITDA targets
• Building close working relationships with key stakeholders within the business to drive profitability and aid decision making
• Contribute commercial insight during the weekly trading meetings, identifying opportunities and risks to trading performance and providing relevant challenge to other stakeholders
• Lead data driven decision making initiatives throughout the business, via the provision of reliable and accessible business data analytics and reporting
• Manage the provision for the trade facing operations of timely MI, conducting ROI analysis for trade related incentives and opportunities to optimise financial performance
• Ensures all operational processes are regularly reviewed for efficiency and effectiveness, considering the impact on other areas of the business and on the customer journey
