We are seeking a Mechanical SIte Manager for a firm with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality commercial projects. We are currently seeking an experienced Mechanical Site Manager to join our team on an exciting new-build commercial development.

Job Summary:

The Mechanical Site Manager will oversee all mechanical installation activities on-site, ensuring they are completed safely, on schedule, and to the required quality standards. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in mechanical building services, strong leadership skills, and a track record of delivering commercial projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and supervise the mechanical works on-site including HVAC, plumbing, drainage, and associated systems.

*

Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other site teams to ensure smooth delivery of mechanical services.

*

Ensure works are completed according to drawings, specifications, and regulations.

*

Monitor progress against the programme and report any delays or issues to the Project Manager.

*

Conduct site inspections and quality checks to ensure compliance with HSE standards and company procedures.

*

Attend and lead regular site meetings, providing technical guidance and resolving issues as they arise.

*

Manage and maintain site documentation including RAMS, permits to work, and progress reports.

*

Liaise with consultants, engineers, and the client representative as required.

Requirements:

*

Proven experience in a Mechanical Site Manager or Supervisory role on commercial new-build projects.

*

Strong technical knowledge of mechanical systems in building services.

*

Relevant mechanical or building services qualification (e.g., HNC/HND, NVQ, or equivalent).

*

SMSTS/SSSTS certification.

*

CSCS card (Management level preferred).

*

First Aid qualification (desirable).

*

Excellent communication, organisational, and leadership skills.

Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
