CNC Turner Setter/Operator

Summary:

Our client is a global market leader in high quality lighting products and has been established for a number of years in their industry.

This role has arisen due to the departure of a long serving and valued Engineer. They are currently seeking a Skilled CNC Turner to aid the team in the manufacturing of machined components for use in lighting products.

Salary:

Equivalent of £33,228 per year (based on a 38-hour, 4.5 day working week - equating to above £16.80 per hour)

Role responsibilities:

* Time served experience in CNC Setting / Operation, and knowledge of on-machine programming

* Background in reading / understanding design specifications & knowledge of technical drawings

* Being a self-starter - working to deadlines, demonstrating efficiency, attention to detail, and maintaining and contributing to the improvement of housekeeping

* To comply with company policies, procedures and objectives

* Working to Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental (QHES) procedures, company policies and objectives

* Good timekeeping skills, the ability to work to tight deadlines and manage your time efficiently

* Good communication skills and ability to work well as a team

Experience preferred in the use of Mazak and Mori Seiki (barfeed) Machineries; however, use of similar machines would be considered as training can be provided.
