Part-time Housekeeper Job

A returning client of Greycoat Lumleys is seeking a proactive and experienced Part-time Housekeeper to manage their Large Weekend property in Honiton, Devon. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in housekeeping and a commitment to maintaining a clean and organised environment. You will also be responsible for communicating any maintenance issues and sourcing quotes for contractors for any maintenance works needed. The principals have pets which would need feeding only on occasion when the current employee is away on vacation.

Duties

• All housekeeping duties
• Maintain cleanliness of all rooms and common areas
• Laundry duties including washing, ironing, and organising
• Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies, and grocery cupboards ensuring that they are stocked for arrival
• Reporting any maintenance issues to the principals
• Sourcing contractors, Liaising with them when they arrive
• Batch cooking would be a bonus, not a necessity
• Running errands & ad-hoc duties

The ideal person would be;

• Animal friendly
• Have Proven experience as a housekeeper or similar role with checkable references.
• Have a good knowledge of cleaning products, techniques, and methods.
• Have excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks
• Have good Attention to detail
• Have a Friendly upbeat, professional demeanor

Days: Flexible on days 3 days or 4 days Monday - Thursday

Hours: 25 hours flexible for less

Start date: As soon as the right person is found

Salary: £18-£20 GPH Depending on skills and experience
