Day Shift Supervisor Wanted - Doncaster

Utrust Recruitment are currently recruiting for shift supervisors to join a business based on the outskirts of Doncaster due to continuous company growth.

This role will require the candidate to have strong leadership skills, be happy to work in an outdoor environment and be able to operate/drive mobile plant onsite.

The duties of a Shift Supervisor:

* Providing leadership and set high expectations to staff on site

* Monitoring, controlling and optimizing activities across the site including plant operations, staff workflow and inbound and outbound loads

* Ensure that the companies Health, Safety and Environmental rules and management systems are complied with at all times

* Ensure good practice amongst site staff

* Ensure company policies and procedures are adhered to by all on site

* Continuous monitoring of all standards and rules set by the directors and Site Manager in respect of housekeeping, safety, health, welfare, environment and production quality control

* Ensure the site is secure

* Overview documentation relevant to ISO standards

* Communicate professionally and effectively with Director, Site Manager and all site staff

Person Specification

* Experience with manufacturing/processing plant

* Organizational and leadership abilities

* Communication and interpersonal skills

* Self-motivated with the ability to problem solve

* Mobile plant experience, in particular FLT, loading shovel and grab

* Proven experience as a Supervisor or similar role

* High standard of English written and verbal communication

* Computer literate, competent with email

This is a permanent job opportunity direct through the business following a successful interview. The working hours are Monday to Friday 6am-6pm, the salary is depending on experience £30,000-£38,000
