CompanyNigel Wright is delighted to be supporting a successful and growth orientated manufacturing business, with a global customer base in the recruitment of a marketing specialist to lead their marketing function.  The role will be based from their site in County Durham,.  RoleThe Marketing Lead will report to the Business Development Director and collaborate closely with the Senior Leadership Team to develop and implement marketing strategies aimed at reaching both new and existing audiences. This role is responsible for creating and distributing all marketing collateral, initiatives, advertising, communications programs, and managing an extensive tradeshow calendar.Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop marketing strategies in line with company objectives, in collaboration with Business Development and Sales teams.
  • Serve as the brand guardian across the business and with external partners, stakeholders, and suppliers.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create compelling marketing collateral that aligns with company and group brand values.
  • Plan, implement, and deliver all tactical marketing activities, including the annual tradeshows and events program.
  • Manage the marketing budget to optimize ROI.
  • Mentor and support the development of the Marketing Assistant.
  • Design and deliver a content plan, including the creation of website articles, multimedia, email, and social media posts.
ExperienceCandidates will ideally be able to demonstrate:
  • Previous marketing experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
  • Proven experience in a Marketing Lead or similar role.
  • A track record of successfully executing marketing campaigns.
  • Understanding of marketing principles, campaign development, and digital marketing channels.
  • Exceptional communication skills.
  • Commercial awareness.
  • Willingness to travel nationally and internationally to visit sister sites and facilitate events.
