Monday to Friday 37 hours per week which is Monday to Thursday 7.45 am to 4.45 pm and then Fridays 7.45 am to 12.45 pm

We are seeking a Functional Skills Tutor, for English and Mathematics. This is a great opportunity to work with a close and supportive team, as committed to staff wellbeing.

DUTIES

* To deliver upto level 2 functional skills English and Mathematics

* Delivering via face-to-face sessions in the classroom environment

* Planning and delivery engaging lessons, tailoring your teaching to the learners individual needs

* Caseload of 12to 14 learners in the classroom

* All planning, marking is done on site within the working hours and not a requirement to complete any additional extra-circular activities

* Inspire and motivate learners to achieve qualifications on time

* Ensure marking and feedback to the learner is accurate and supports their development

* Produce reports

* Attend meetings

ESSENTIAL FOR THE ROLE

* Must be Teacher qualified or subject specialist qualifications at level 4 or 5

* Experience in delivering English and Mathematics to adult learners
