A respected independent consultancy with over 40 years of industry success is seeking a skilled and ambitious Building Surveyor to join their team of 22, which includes Building Surveyors and Architectural Technologists.

This is a unique opportunity for a forward-thinking Building Surveyor eager to develop their career, with a clear pathway to partnership as part of the company's long-term succession planning.

The Building Surveyor Role

The Building Surveyor will take on a varied workload, with a primary focus on contract administration and technical specification writing.

The role will largely involve working on commercial property projects for a wide range of clients, including high-profile organisations. Joining this collaborative and supportive team offers the chance to grow in a role with increasing leadership opportunities and progression to partnership.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality contract administration and specification writing for commercial property projects
Work closely with a diverse portfolio of clients, ensuring service excellence and client satisfaction
Demonstrate self-sufficiency in managing project responsibilities while collaborating with a talented team
Take on leadership duties and actively contribute to the company's strategic growthThe Ideal Building Surveyor

MRICS qualification (preferred but not essential)
RICS-accredited degree in Building Surveying or equivalent
Proven experience in a construction consultancy environment
Strong expertise in contract administration and specification writing
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbalIn Return?

Salary: £55,000 - £65,000
