We are recruiting for a highly skilled Engineering Leader to oversee operations at a government healthcare facility in Reading. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional with a strong background in M&E hard services to take on a leadership role in a critical and rewarding environment.

As the Engineering Leader, you will be responsible for managing and supervising a team of Mechanical & Electrical engineers. Your primary focus will be ensuring the seamless operation and maintenance of the facility's systems, providing top-tier support to a crucial healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities for an Engineering Leader:

* Oversee and manage the day-to-day activities of the M&E engineering team.

* Ensure all planned and reactive maintenance tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard.

* Coordinate with the facility management team to support the overall operation of the healthcare facility.

* Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and industry standards.

* Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues promptly to minimize downtime.

* Maintain accurate records of maintenance work and report on system performance.

* Provide leadership, training, and development opportunities to team members.

Experience/Qualifications required for an Engineering Leader

* Qualifications: Relevant qualifications in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.

* Experience: Extensive experience in M&E hard services, with a proven track record of leading a team of engineers on a commercial site.

* Skills: Strong leadership and organizational skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
