Overview

We are seeking a Pre-Sales Engineer with expertise in the security industry to join our leading manufacturer team. This position offers a competitive salary of up to £50,000, a bonus structure, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, car allowance, death in service benefit, and more.

Responsibilities

Act as the technical expert in pre-sales activities, assisting the sales team in presenting solutions to potential clients
Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to clients and field engineers
Conduct site surveys to assess client requirements and propose appropriate security solutions
Deliver training sessions to internal teams and clients on the features and benefits of our security products
Provide project support by assisting with the design and implementation of security solutions
Represent the company as a subject matter expert at industry events and client meetings

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Pre-Sales Engineer or similar role within the security industry
In-depth knowledge of video surveillance systems and other security technologies
Strong technical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Ability to lead and manage projects from conception to completion
Relevant certifications in security technologies are a plus

Day-to-day

Collaborate with the sales team to understand client needs and provide technical expertise in pre-sales activities
Conduct site surveys and assessments to gather technical requirements and propose appropriate security solutions
Provide technical support and training to internal teams and clients
Assist in the design and implementation of security solutions
Stay updated on industry trends and developments to provide valuable insights to clients and internal teams
