Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children and young people with complex needs?

We are looking for dedicated Children & Young People's Support Workers to join our team in YEOVIL, providing high-quality care and support in residential and educational settings.

About the Role:

As a Children & Young People's Support Worker, you will play a vital role in empowering young people with emotional, behavioural, and learning difficulties.

You will provide person-centred support, helping them develop independence, build confidence, and achieve their full potential in a safe and nurturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

* Supporting young people with daily routines, personal care, and social activities

* Implementing individual care plans to promote development and well-being

* Managing challenging behaviour using de-escalation techniques and a trauma-informed approach

* Encouraging independent living skills, including budgeting, cooking, and education support

* Building positive relationships and acting as a role model

* Working closely with families, schools, social workers, and other professionals

* Keeping accurate records, care plans, and incident reports in line with Ofsted regulations

What We're Looking For:

* Experience supporting children & young people with complex needs, challenging behaviours, or learning disabilities

* A caring, patient, and resilient approach to working with vulnerable individuals

* Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins

* An understanding of safeguarding, child protection, and trauma-informed care
