A field-based territory sales role promoting a leading range of roof tiles and pitched roof building materials into national house builders, regional developers, housing associations and roofing contractors across the East Midlands and Yorkshire area.

Package: £45k-£55k basic depending on experience, with a +30% bonus scheme, £7k car allowance and an excellent corporate benefits package that includes a share save scheme and pension contributions matched to 10%Territory: Northamptonshire, Leicestershire, Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire, Lincolnshire, South & West Yorkshire Products: Roof tiles and pitched roof fixings and accessoriesCustomers: National house builders, regional developers, local authorities, housing associations, roofing contractors and building / roofing merchants

The Role - Area Sales Manager:

  • Promoting a leading range of roof tiles and pitched roof building materials
  • Tracking and winning projects with national house builders, regional developers, local authorities, housing associations and roofing contractors
  • As well as developing the relationship with a network of merchants that your projects will be back-sold through
  • You will inherit a portfolio of accounts to account manage, develop and win business from, as well as being expected to prospect and win new business opportunities
  • You will access to a CRM, lead generation software, and colleagues in other divisions to piggy back and share leads with

The Successful Applicant - Area Sales Manager:

  • You will be a field sales professional with a consultative and structured approach to sales
  • You will already be working within the construction industry and looking to progress your sales career
  • You could be coming from building materials and the heavy-side of construction, although my client is happy to recruit from other construction related sectors
  • Either way you will be equally as comfortable developing existing relationships, as you are identifying and winning new business
  • Whilst possessing first class presentation and communication skills, and be looking for a career and not just a job
