Hays Senior Finance are delighted to be working with a company in Wolverhampton who are looking for an accountant with property/ service charge experience to join them on an ongoing temporary basis.

Your new role

The job of the service charge accountant will oversee service charges for residential and commercial properties. This is a varied role which would include reporting and reconciliation of accounts. The duties of the role may include but would not be limited to:

• Managing the budgets
• Preparing and reviewing service charge statements and reports
• Preparing reports for senior management
• Making sure the correct charge is assigned to each property within the portfolio
• Accurate reconciliation of accounts
• Preparation and management of service charges and cost estimates for various properties
• Support with service charge issues

What you'll need to succeed

The ideal candidate will be available at short notice and be able to commit to an ongoing temporary assignment, they will have previous experience of working in property within a similar role and be happy to work in an office environment 2 days per week.
