About the Role:
A leading Purpose-Built Student Accommodation (PBSA) provider is seeking an experienced and dynamic Marketing Manager to drive brand marketing, partnerships, digital marketing, and sales operations. Reporting to the Head of Sales & Marketing, the Marketing Manager will play a crucial role in enhancing brand presence, attracting students, and ensuring strategic marketing initiatives align with business objectives. This role also includes deputizing for the Head of Sales & Marketing during their absence, ensuring continuity in leadership and decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership Responsibilities:
Deputizes for the Head of Sales & Marketing, providing direction and maintaining strategic initiatives.
Leads and manages a team of 3 to 5 professionals across digital marketing, resident experience, branding, and content creation.
Fosters a collaborative and innovative team environment to enhance brand visibility and resident engagement.
Strategic Corporate Communications:
Develops and implements a corporate communications strategy to align with organizational goals.
Collaborates with various departments to create an annual planner highlighting peak seasons.
Manages internal and external communications, ensuring effective incident response and reputation management.
Corporate Event Participation & Award Submissions:
Leads the organization's participation in key industry events to enhance networking and brand positioning.
Oversees the development of award submissions, showcasing the company's achievements and strengths.
Content & Campaigns:
Leads cross-functional teams in executing impactful marketing initiatives at corporate and property levels.
Drives the creation of engaging content and campaigns to elevate brand recognition and audience engagement.
Agency Collaboration & Strategic Alignment:
Sales Operations Leadership:
Manages marketing collateral and sales operations to support each academic year's objectives.
Oversees the mobilization of new properties and demobilization of existing ones, ensuring smooth transitions aligned with marketing and sales goals.
Additional Responsibilities:
Candidate Requirements:
Minimum of 6 years' marketing experience, preferably in PBSA, Build-to-Rent (BTR), or real estate.
Previous experience in a leadership role with team management responsibilities.
Strong expertise in social media management, branding, and property marketing.
Proficiency in tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, and social media platforms.
Exceptional creative and strategic thinking skills, with experience in content creation and campaign planning.
