Electrical Project Manager needed for a commercial project

This role is TEMP TO PERM !

we are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to oversee the electrical aspects of our latest commercial development project. If you're passionate about managing complex electrical systems and driving projects to successful completion, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

* Lead and manage all electrical aspects of the project, from planning and design through to completion.

* Develop, coordinate, and oversee electrical systems installation, testing, and commissioning for the commercial project.

* Work closely with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure electrical systems are aligned with project goals, budget, and timeline.

* Create and manage detailed project schedules, ensuring timely completion of electrical work while maintaining quality standards.

* Ensure electrical installations meet all safety codes, building regulations, and quality standards.

* Supervise, mentor, and provide direction to the electrical team, including subcontractors and field personnel.

* Manage procurement of electrical materials and equipment, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget.

* Track and report on project progress, including monitoring budgets, timelines, and resource allocation.

* Troubleshoot any electrical issues that arise on-site, coordinating solutions with relevant teams.

* Conduct regular site inspections and safety audits to ensure work is performed safely and efficiently.

* Provide clear communication to senior management and clients regarding project status, changes, or issues.

Requirements:

* ECS card

* SMSTS

* Proven experience as an Electrical Project Manager or similar role, with a focus on commercial construction projects.

* Strong understanding of electrical systems design, installation, and commissioning.

* Solid experience managing project budgets, schedules, and procurement processes.

* Familiarity with national and local electrical codes, safety standards, and regulations.

* Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with clients, contractors, and team members.

* Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically when addressing technical challenges.

* Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while ensuring the highest quality standards.
