Exprss Recruitment are proud to be representing a rapidly growing Engineering firm who are looking to hire an Electrical Bias Project Engineer on a full time, permanent basis. Roles and Responsibilities

* Manage agreed resources, budgets, scope, and program

* Plan resources needed to meet project requirements/demands

* Attend various client sites to perform full scale scope of works

* Allocate allotted budgets to individual projects, factoring in labour, material and sub-contractor costs

* Oversee M&E installations commissioning works on a range of high voltage, piping and instrumentation equipment

* Oversee electrical testing and inspection works

* Ensure M&E drawings and designs are updated

* Produce method statements and risk assessments

* Obtain subcontractor quotations

* Attend meetings with cross function departments

* Produce quotations and HSEQ paperwork

* Carry out site inductions and toolbox talks

* Reports accidents, incidents, and near misses

Skills and Experience

* Previous experience working as an Electrical Project Engineer or similar

* HNC/HND in Electrical Engineering or similar level

* Knowledge of Piping and Instrumentation Engineering highly desirable

* Previous site experience including water treatment plants, pumping stations, power stations and renewable energy plants

* Experienced working with HV control panels, switchgears, cables schedules, hydraulic pumps etc.

* 2391 Inspection & Testing certification advantageous

* CSCS Gold Card essential

* 18th Edition Qualified

* SMSTS

* Comfortable working overtime and occasionally away overnight
