Copello is recruiting an Electrical Engineer on behalf of a renowned maritime company based in London. This is a fantastic opportunity to join an established engineering team dedicated to ensuring the safe and efficient operation of their vessels.

Qualifications & Experience

* Qualified electrician or electrical engineer.

* Knowledge of British Wiring Regulations (or equivalent).

* Experience with 12V, 24V, and 415V 3-Phase systems.

* Familiarity with engine-driven power generation and HVAC systems.

* Proven ability to diagnose and resolve electrical faults effectively.

* Experience interpreting and working from electrical schematics and technical drawings.

* Strong understanding of electrical safety and compliance practices.

Key Responsibilities

* Service and maintain all electrical systems on vessels and engineering facilities.

* Ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations and company policies.

* Assist Senior Marine Engineers in supervising and coordinating shift engineers.

* Log and report faults, repairs, and maintenance work in the compliance system.

* Conduct safety checks on vessel electrical systems in line with statutory legislation and company policies.

* Drive technical improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
