Assistant Management Accountant | £33,000 - £37,000 per annum | Temp to Perm | Study Support | Manchester | Hybrid:

Castlefield Recruitment are working with a public-sector organisation in Manchester who are looking to recruit an Assistant Management Accountant to their growing team on an initial interim basis, which will then lead to a guaranteed permanent role. The role offers hybrid working/flexi-time, generous annual leave, study support and other great benefits.

Duties:

• Recording and maintaining financial transactions for the business which will include purchases, expenses, invoices and payments
• Assisting with the preparation of the monthly management accounts and monitoring budgets and expenditures
• Posting prepayments, accruals and other journals
• Processing accounts payable and accounts recievable, perform regular bank reconciliations and ensure accurate recording of all transactions
• Assist with adhoc tasks such as administrative duties to support the wider business

Experience:

• Experience as an Assistant Management Accountant with a strong understanding of transactional finance
• AAT Qualified with experience using financial systems and strong excel skills
• Ability to post prepayments and accruals
• Able to work as a team player and assist with adhoc duties
• Exceptional organisational and administration skills with strong attention to detail
• Immediately available to start next role
