Recruit4Staff are proud to be representing their client, a leading engineering company in their search for a Mechanical Fitter to work in their leading facility in Telford.

For the successful Mechanical Fitter our client is offering:

Paying up to £29,120 Depending on experience
Days based role 7am-5pm with an 11:30am finish on Fridays
Permanent role

Opportunity to work within an established engineering company
Overtime opportunities available after 40 hours

The Role - Mechanical Fitter:

Reading from engineering drawings to build a variety of machines that the company manufacture
Building of machinery within the workshop
Use of equipment within the workshop
Fitting & Fabrication
Carrying out suitable repairs
Refurbishing of machines within the workshop
Use of hand & power tools
What our client is looking for in a Mechanical Fitter:

Ability to interpret engineering drawings
Good general Engineering background
Hydraulics knowledge
Keen eye for detail
Full UK Licence is ESSENTIAL as you will be split between the clients 2 sites (Telford & Bridgnorth) - But 90% of the time in Telford
Ideally you will possess a FLT Licence but this isn't essential as our client can train somebody
