Fitter/Assembler

We are looking for an experienced Fitter/Assembler to join our manufacturing client in Doncaster. If you have 'City and Guilds' or other relevant engineering qualifications or have the relevant experience in this sector keep reading.

Hours of work: Mon - Thurs 08.00am - 17.00pm, Friday 08.00am - 16.30pm.

Rate of pay: £14ph

Responsibilities:

* Assemble complex machinery as directed by engineering drawings.

* Carrying out all daily checks on machinery.

* Use hand and power tools effectively and accurately.

* Perform duties in a work environment that will be hot, cold, dirty and fast-paced.

* To be able to use Overhead Crane Equipment (training given).

* Perform quality work checks to ensure the product meets quality standards.

* Competent in welding techniques.

Requirements of candidate:

* City & Guilds or relevant experience.

* Fitting - Assembly Qualification.

* Experience with how to implement safe working practices.

* Experience in a similar role.
