We’re working with a growing and forward-thinking business in Billingham to recruit an experienced Management Accountant to join their collaborative finance team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Day-to-day transaction processing across multiple entities
• Maintain and update control accounts daily
• Sales processing and credit control
• Credit card coding and processing
• Income calculation and royalty submission tasks
• Purchase ledger reconciliations and payment runs
• Monthly payroll processing
• Preparation of balance sheet reconciliations and management accounts
• Quarterly VAT returns
• Supporting the Senior Management Accountant and providing cover for the wider finance team when needed

What We’re Looking For:

• At least 2 years’ experience in balance sheet reconciliations and management accounts
• Advanced Excel skills
• Experience using Sage 200 is highly desirable
• Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills
• Effective communicator with a proactive and team-oriented mindset
• Comfortable working under pressure and meeting tight deadlines
• High level of discretion when handling sensitive information

Job Details:

• £35,000 - £40,000
• 22 days holiday per year (plus bank holidays)
• Standard hours: 9:00am - 5:00pm, Monday to Friday (37.5 hours per week)
• Option for a 4-day working week considered
• Dress-down Fridays
